Urban and Regional Planning Division
City and Regional Planning Division will provide students theoretical knowledge and professional practice skills necessary for the city and regional planning process by considering the concepts of planning profession in the context of both universal criteria and national legislation. This structure of the division aims to educate professionals who have the capacity to analyze and synthesize both national and international planning phenomena. The education to be given within the City and Regional Planning Division will regard a wide range of topics such as urban planning, urban transformation, conservation, urban design, landscape design, regional and urban economy, social development, urban law, urban geography, urban sociology, ecology and sustainable planning, rural planning and disaster resilient city design and the division is planned to have a multidisciplinary structure that is a necessity which urban planning looks for.
